Tiger Zinda Hai: Salman Khan scores double ton at Box Office

Salman Khan starrer Tubelight which released on Eid this year may have proved to be a dud at the Box Office, but his latest – Tiger Zinda Hai is turning out to be a roaring success. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has effortlessly moved past the Rs 200 crore milestone thereby earning the whopping amount within a week of its release.

The spy-thriller also starring Katrina Kaif had grossed over Rs 190 crores until Wednesday.

Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest Box Office collection report.

Tiger Zinda Hai is Salman’s 12th film to enter the prestigious Rs 100 club. And the list includes blockbusters like Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ready, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Jai Ho, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and interestingly Tubelight.

Five of his films have crosses the Rs 200 crore mark while two have touched the Rs 300 crore milestone.

Will Tiger Zinda Hai outdo his own films in terms of collections? Let’s wait and watch.

A sequel to Kabir Khan’s 2012 Eid blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai has high-octane action sequences worthy of giving you the adrenaline rush. Not just Salman, even Katrina has pulled off some breathtaking stunts and jaw-dropping action sequences.

The film is a complete entertainer with some amazing songs and breathtaking cinematography. Besides this, Tiger Zinda Haihas a gripping plot and the storyline is fast paced.

Tiger Zinda Hai, which is the last biggest release of the ongoing year 2017 has made Christmas merrier for Bollywood by creating waves at the Box Office. 2017 hasn’t been a great year for Bollywood and hence it was important for TZH to perform well. And Salman, the ultimate king of the Box Office has done it in style.
