Cyclone Vayu Live News and Updates

Cyclone Vayu Live News and Updates:Cyclone Vayu: Gujarat on high alert, people from coasts to be evacuated Gujarat put on alert for Cyclone Vayu live Updates Live video

cyclone Vayu, a cyclonic storm, is fast moving towards the north and is expected to hit the Gujarat coast between Porbandar and Mahuva with wind speed up to 120 kmph on June 13.

Cyclone Vayu is expected to have an impact on the Gujarat coast after two days on Thursday. The deep depression is located off the Lakshadweep coast near Aminidivi and is expected to intensify within the next 24 hours.
The Gujarat administration is on high alert to deal with cyclone 'Vayu', which is likely to hit the state coast near Veraval on Thursday, officials said.

We have cancelled leaves of all the employees concerned and asked them to join the duty. After the Cabinet meet tomorrow, all the ministers will go to various districts to oversee relief and rescue operations," he said.
"June 13 and 14 are crucial for us. We have roped-in the Army, NDRF, Coast Guard and other agencies for rescue and relief work. To minimise human casualty, we will start shifting people living in coastal areas to safer locations from tomorrow," he said.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the deep depression in the Arabian Sea is developing into a severe cyclonic storm, named cyclone Vayu, and will cause heavy rainfall in the coastal areas of Saurashtra region in the coming days.

The government has decided to deploy National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel in coastal areas of Saurashtra and Kutch from Tuesday morning, owing to likely storm and heavy rain.

The government will also put the Army, the Navy and the Coast Guard on alert.

According to the IMD, heavy rain is likely on Thursday and Friday in the coastal areas of Saurashtra and Kutch, with winds blowing at a speed of over 110 kmph.

The government has advised fishermen against venturing into the sea in the next few days, while ports have been directed to flag a danger signal.

“A heavy rain warning has been issued for Saurashtra and Kutch on June 13 and 14 due to the depression in the Arabian Sea, which will turn into a severe cyclonic storm,” State Meteorological Department Director Jayanta Sarkar told reporters here.

Gujarat ports and transport department's principal secretary Sunaina Tomar said a disaster management plan has been put in place at all ports of the state.
"We have installed power generators at all the ports. Cargo and Ro-Ro ferry operations have been halted. Leaves of port and transport employees have been cancelled," said Tomar

Chief minister Vijay Rupani on Tuesday said people living in the coastal belt would be shifted to safer places.

Anticipating the impact of Cyclone Vayu, schools and colleges have declared a holiday on June 13, the day the cyclone will hit Gujarat.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rains and high winds at a speed of over 110 kilometres on June 13 and 14 in coastal areas of Saurashtra and Kutch. Orange alerted cyclonic storm is expected to bring widespread rain all along India’s western coast, as per IMD.

The Met department has predicted that Cyclone Vayu will move over the east-central area and adjoining areas of the Arabian Sea on Tuesday evening with a wind speed of 90-100 kmph. Cyclone Vayu is likely to have a mild impact over the Lakshadweep area, Kerala, Karnataka and south Maharashtra coasts.

All schools of Gujarat are likely to continue on Sunday.

Important Circular on Monitoring of Bisegg Broadcasting and Monitoring of Primary Schools- 6-6-2019.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has decided to make tougher the SSC multiple choice question (MCQ) paper. Say it interesting or untoward, but the board thinks its teachers are not up to the mark to do the job of setting tougher questions, and henceforth, has decided to outsource the work from some independent agencies.

The board’s officer on special duty (OSD), M M Pathan, revealed that an agency would be hired to devise a bank of tough MCQs that would aim at testing the students’ understanding about the subject. He further disclosed that last year around 5% questions in the MCQ paper of 50 marks were intentionally asked of a higher standard in order to scale up the knowledge level of board students. Following that, this year the number of tough questions would be bigger.

Viewing the competition scenario, the state board students should be in line with the students of central and international boards, and in order to make that happen, their level has to be raised, letting them perform equally well in the national level competitive exams, said.

Initially, the board had assigned the GSHSEB teachers for the task of formulating a bank of questions that would pose teasers to the students and cream out the brightest from the average students. But sadly, out of the 1, 500 questions submitted by the teachers of each subject, only 30 (apprx) were qualified to come into the category of 'tough'. Most of the questions were found to be picked from the

guides available in the market.

All schools of Gujarat are likely to continue on Sunday

ANTARIK BADLI JILLA FER BADLI JILLA VIBHAJAN BADLI THAYEL SHIKSHAKO NE CHHUTA KARVA BABAT GR GIR SOMNATH GR DATE 6/6/2019.

A primary school (or elementary school) is a school for children between the ages of about five and eleven. It comes after preschool. When children finish learning at primary school, they go to secondary school.

In the United Kingdom, a primary school usually comprises a nursery and the first seven years of a child's full-time learning. In Australia and the United States, primary school begins with kindergarten. It lasts for six years, usually until the fifth or sixth grade. In the U.S., "elementary school" is a more common term for public primary schools. "Primary school" is often used in privateor independent schools. (In private or independent schools the government does not give the schools money.)

In India, "Primary Education" means the 'Nursery', the 'Kindergarten' and four years of regular schooling thereafter. Admission to Nursery classes is for children above two years so that the age is 6+ when entering Class I. Children are taught language (mother tongue and English) reading/writing skills, basic arithmetic and quite a good amount of general information about the country, people, statesmen, great people, flora & animals. However, this is true only for schools in the urban areas. Rural schools do not have Nursery or Kindergarten; they admit straight at Class I when the child is six. Further, the rural schools use the mother tongue as medium of instruction, not resorting to English in any way. Primary education is free in government schools. Moreover, rural primary schools offer free mid-day meals to children (the government pays for it) so that the drop out rate comes down. States of West Bengal, Maharashtra, Manipur, Nagaland and Kerala have done very good work in this way of spreading primary education.

In Singapore, primary school refers to those students who are normally between the ages of 7 to 12. Primary School is classified as P1 to P6 for Primary 1 to Primary 6 respectively. At the end of P6, students sit for a national level Primary School Leaving Exam (PSLE) which is used for placement into Secondary School. Prior to Primary School, pupils attend Kindergarten School for 2 years.

In Germany, the primary school is called "Grundschule" and is normally from first grade to fourth grade so it is usually for children who are between six and ten years old. In some eastern states, for example in Berlin, the Primary School is for children up to age 12. In most German states the children start learning English in third grade on a very low level, they learn how to count and the names of the colors and other easy things. But because of that low level a German child who has finished Primary School is normally not able to form correct English sentences. In Primary School the children are prepared for the secondary education. Primary School students attend three main subjects: Math, German and General Knowledge ("Sachkunde"). In General Knowledge the children learn about nature, about their own body, how to ride a bicycle safely and something about the city they live in and of course about Germany. Beside those main subjects the children attend subjects like arts, music and Physical Education.
