Mobile data benefits vary across all six Reliance Jio prepaid plans, but most of them allow the usage of 1 GB of high-speed data every day.

Reliance Jio is offering six prepaid recharge packs between Rs 100 and Rs 500. Voice calls are free for in all these plans. Most of these six plans but one offer unlimited SMS (short message service). Mobile data benefits vary across these six plans but most of them allow the usage of 1 GB or gigabyte of high-speed data every day, showed Jio on its website jio.com. Jio is also offering a triple cashback offerfor its customer worth over Rs 2,500.

Here are the benefits of Reliance Jio prepaid recharge plans worth Rs 149, Rs 309, Rs 399, Rs 459 and Rs 499

☞ Reliance Jio Rs. 149 plan

Under its recharge plan priced at Rs. 149, which is valid for 28 days, Jio offers high speed data of 4.2 GB data with a daily limit of 0.15 GB. The speed is reduced to 64 Kbps after the customer exhausts the daily limit. Local, STD and roaming calls are free and unlimited across all operators. The number of SMS is limited to 300.

☞ Reliance Jio Rs. 309 recharge plan

This recharge pack by Jio comes with a validity of 49 days. It offers 1GB data per day. After usage of 1GB data per day, the speed is reduced to 64 Kbps. The maximum data that can be availed in this plan is 49 GB. Voice calls and SMS are unlimited.

☞  Reliance Jio Rs. 399 plan

Jio's Rs. 399 recharge pack comes with a validity of 70 days. Among other benefits, Jio offers 70 GB of high speed data with a daily limit of 1GB under the Rs. 399 plan, according to its website. Like other prepaid packs offered by Jio, the data speed is reduced to 64 Kbps after a customer exhausts the daily limit. Local, STD and roaming calls are free and unlimited across all operators. One can make unlimited number of free SMSes.

☞ Reliance Jio Rs. 459 plan

Under Jio's Rs. 459 recharge, prepaid customers of the telecom company get high speed data of 84 GB over a validity period of 84 days, with a daily usage limit of 1 GB. The data speed is reduced to 64 Kbps after the usage of daily limit. Local, STD and roaming calls are free and unlimited across all operators. This pack also includes unlimited SMSes free of cost.

☞ Reliance Jio Rs. 499 plan

Under its Rs. 499 plan, Jio offers 1 GB data per day subject to a maximum limit of 91 GB data for 91 days. After a customer exhaust the maximum data allowed daily under the pack, the internet speed is reduced to 64 Kbps. Local, STD and roaming calls are free and unlimited across all operators in Jio's Rs. 499 pack as well. Jio customers also get unlimited free SMSes under the Rs 499 recharge pack, according to its website.

That’s why I expect Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana to make Rs 1-1.5 crore on the first day. By the time the weekend arrives it may earn Rs 6 crores if the reviews and word-of-mouth are strong,” trade analyst Girish Johar had told indianexpress.com earlier.

It’s all becoming too much of a muchness, as are movies set in these small towns, and their quirky, colourful characters. What about a film with a convincing, loud shout out against ‘dahej’? Now that’s one invite I wouldn’t miss.”

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film’s director, is known for giving the audience spectacle but in the second song of the film, the focus is firmly on emotions. Along with Rajput royals, Deepika’s Padmavati and Shahid’s Maharawal are essentially two people in love. So, while their backs stay ramrod straight during war and peace, their eyes speak of their love.

Earlier, speaking about working with Shahid Kapoor for the first time in Bhansali’s film, Deepika said, “Shahid and I have known each other for so many years, but a special film like Padmavati brought us together onscreen. His contribution to this film is irreplaceable. It was important to have a good actor, with a strong screen presence and massive popularity to add to this film. Shahid brought that with him.” While Shahid is the new entrant to the team, Ranveer and Deepika are teaming with Bhansali for the third time. They have earlier delivered hits such as Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013) and Bajirao Mastani (2015).

Padmavati’s first song, Ghoomar, focussed on Deepika’s Padmavati alone, and was well received. While Padmavati is winning accolades for its sumptuous visuals, it has been in the thick of controversy as well.

Padmavati is facing a ban call with fringe Rajput groups protesting against an alleged “romantic sequence between Padmavati and Khilji”. Both Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the film’s team has dismissed these rumours. As the film’s release approaches, the controversies have got a new lease of life. In the past two days, the Supreme Court and the Allahabad High Court have dismissed petitions seeking ban on the film. The film is yet to be certified by Central Board of Film Certification.

Apart from dual cameras, the S7 offers everything the 8 Pro does and more. The extras on offer are IP68 dust and water resistance, wireless charging, an arguably sleeker glass and metal design and less cluttered software. To be fair, the 8 Pro has a larger screen and is slightly faster when it comes to intensive tasks.

In India Today tech's Honor 8 Pro vs OnePlus 5 comparison, it was the latter that pulled ahead thanks to the sheer value for money it offers. But the Samsung Galaxy S7 at this price offers an even better deal.

In one of the largest private equity investments in the Indian banking sector, Axis Bank, the third largest private sector bank in India, has decided to raise equity and equity-linked capital of Rs 11,626 crore from a set of investors including entities affiliated with Bain Capital Private Equity and the bank’s promoter Life Insurance Corporation. Entities affiliated with Bain Capital propose to invest Rs 6,854 crore and LIC proposes to invest Rs1,583 crore, the bank said on Friday.

The bank proposes to raise Rs 9,063 crore through issuance of equity and the remaining Rs 2,563 cr through issue of warrants. The bank has received approval for the capital mobilisation from its board of directors on Friday. Axis bank shares rose by 0.72 per cent to Rs 544.50 on Friday.

The bank proposes to issue 1.72 crore equity shares on preferential basis at a price of Rs 525 per share (at a premium of 2.4 per cent to the SEBI floor price as of the relevant date) and 4.5 crore warrants convertible into equity shares at a price of Rs 565 per share (at a premium of 10.2 per cent to the SEBI floor price), adding Rs 43.6 crore to the paid up capital of the bank. This would entail a dilution of 8.23 per cent for existing shareholders.

“The capital raised will bolster the capital adequacy of the bank, thereby providing growth capital for the core business of the bank and its subsidiaries. Once approved, this would be one of the largest private equity investments in the Indian banking sector,” it said.

Sanjiv Misra, Chairman, Axis Bank said, “banking in India is at an inflection point right now. The credit growth trajectory in the country is turning. The bank reported a profit of Rs 432.38 crore, compared with Rs 319.08 crore a year ago and Rs 1,305.60 crore a quarter ago. Its gross NPAs rose to Rs 27,402.32 crore as of September from Rs16,378.65 crore a year ago and Rs 22,030.87 crore in Q1.

The offer is live starting Friday, November 10 and will run till November 25.
